    The Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship is designed for individuals who want to develop their skills in office-based roles and support the smooth running of a business. This programme provides a strong foundation in administration, communication, and organisational tasks across a variety of sectors.

    As an apprentice, you’ll be employed while you train, gaining valuable experience in the workplace alongside structured learning at ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ. The course typically lasts around 18 months and prepares you for a wide range of administrative roles.

  • What you'll learn

    You’ll learn how to manage records, handle correspondence, support meetings, and use business software effectively. The course also covers project management, customer service, and business fundamentals such as finance, policies, and procedures.

    In addition to technical knowledge, you’ll develop key transferable skills such as communication, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork—essential for success in any business environment.
  • Entry requirements

    There are no formal qualifications needed to start the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship—just a strong interest in business and a desire to learn. This programme is ideal for individuals who are organised, reliable, and keen to develop a career in administration.

    However, some employers may set their own entry requirements, such as specific GCSE grades or relevant experience. If you have not yet achieved a GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Maths, you will be required to complete Functional Skills Level 2 in these subjects as part of your apprenticeship. Don’t worry—support will be provided to help you achieve these essential qualifications alongside your business training.
  • How will I be assessed?

    You’ll be assessed throughout the apprenticeship through a combination of workplace observations, assignments, and a portfolio of evidence. Your tutor and employer will support you in developing your skills and tracking your progress.

    At the end of the programme, you’ll complete an End Point Assessment (EPA). This includes a knowledge test, a portfolio-based interview, and a project presentation to demonstrate your competence and readiness to work independently in a business administration role.

    If you’re interested in this apprenticeship, the first step is to register your interest with ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ. This will add you to our mailing list so we can keep you informed about any upcoming apprenticeship vacancies or employer opportunities in your chosen field.

    To begin the apprenticeship, you’ll need to secure employment with an organisation willing to support you as an apprentice. While it is your responsibility to find and apply for suitable roles, ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ is here to help. We have a dedicated Job Shop located within the college, where you can meet with an Employer Engagement Advisor for tailored support and advice on how to apply for vacancies and prepare for interviews.

  • Future opportunities
